Scotland’s Enterprising Schools @ Scottish Learning Festival 2017

Last week Scotland’s Enterprising Schools spent two days exhibiting at the Scottish Learning Festival and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We met so many practitioners from across Scotland and were blown away by their enthusiasm and passion for teaching. There were many interesting discussions had about the enterprising activity happening in Scottish classrooms and some great new ideas were generated in our seminar session on Wednesday afternoon. We hope to pick up these conversations with you all in the near future.

This year’s festival had an excellent programme with inspiring speeches from the keynote speakers including John Swinney MSP and Josh Littlejohn, co-founder of Social Bite. If you missed any of the speakers, you can catch up on them here.

We’d like to give a big welcome to all our new members who signed up at the festival. We hope you enjoy using our resources and remember if you have any questions, queries or feedback, please do get in touch!

We would also like to thank the representatives from our Partners who came along to lend a helping hand at our stall, your participation is greatly appreciated.

And finally, we would like to say congratulations to our two prize draw winners Susie Carmichael from Ulva Primary and  Lochdonhead Primary on Mull and Lorna Quickfall from Huntercombe Hospital School in Edinburgh, who won the very special prize of our help implementing one of our units of work. We’re really looking forward to working with you.
