City of Glasgow College have launched an exciting new competition for Secondary School pupils across Scotland to put pen to paper and create their very own piece of jewellery.
Designed to inspire young people to think creatively about our current #ClimateEmergency, students are given a design brief that asks them to get creative.
Use your imagination and creativity to design a pendant highlighting the Climate Emergency. The design should be in silver and be presented as a drawing. You can draw your design by hand or create it on the computer. The design can be contemporary or traditional in style.
The competition is open to anyone under 18 and still at Secondary school in Scotland with two categories S1-3, and S4-6.
One winner from each category will have their design 3D printed in the College's state-of-the-art workshops and cast in recycled silver.
Entries must be submitted by Monday 1st March by emailing a jpg of the design (with the pupils name as file name) to Lisa.McGovern@cityofglasgowcollenge.ac.uk including the young person's name, year and school.
By submitting an entry, consent is given for the drawing and details to be shared by the City of Glasgow College website and social channels.
