This week, Young Enterprise Scotland launched their Team Programme for young people with mild to moderate learning difficulties.
The year-long enterprise journey is for those over the age of 15 and works to empower them to transition from education to independent living and employment.
The programme develops confidence and life skills through team working and for the first time, young people have to potential to gain an SCQF accreditation at level 3.
There are so many benefits to taking part in the Team Programme, from gaining real experience of work to developing positive attitudes towards learning and life.
Participants will have access to a PVG checked volunteer business adviser to support either in-person or remotely and a brand new e-commerce platform to allow students to trade in a larger scale.
Due to restrictions still preventing face-to-face events, YES held their launch virtually – you can catch up with their keynote speakers and get all the info you need by watching the launch here.
