Scottish School wins European Entrepreneurial School Award

Dunoon Grammar are celebrating a huge win after being awarded The Entrepreneurial Schools (TES) 2019 UK award, in Helsinki.

They are the first ever Scottish School to be awarded the European Entrepreneurial School of the Year.

The award recognises outstanding schools across Europe who are embedding entrepreneurship across the curriculum. Judging for the award is also based on how the school link with the local community and business sector.

We want to wish a huge congratulations to Dunoon Grammar for the award and their ongoing work to embed enterprise and entrepreneurial approaches to learning and teaching across their curriculum.

We’ll be working with Dunoon Grammar this year to share their work to embed enterprising approaches to learning and teaching across this curriculum as good practice. Congratulations to Dunoon Grammar again and keep a look out for more to come!

Dunoon Grammar work closely with our partner Young Enterprise Scotland, with their S5/S6 previously having participated in their Company Programme, where pupils receive invaluable entrepreneurial experience while running their own business during the academic year.
